Dismantling STIgma: the Reassuring Truths About Herpes
Join Rae as she dismantles the herpes stigma through education and storytelling. She will be discussing transmission and testing, dating and disclosure, safer sex practices and protecting sexual partners. This will be a safe space to ask questions, share resources, and connect with others looking to learn more about life after herpes.
Sex & Dating With STIs
Pleasure doesn't have to end with an STI diagnosis! Tiffany Lashai Curtis will cover topics like disclosure & communication, sexual safe care, advocating for yourself during STI testing, and ways to engage in nonsexual intimacy and sexual intimacy that decenters the genitals. You'll leave the class feeling affirmed in your right to pleasure as an STI+ person, gain some tools to begin tackling internalized stigma/shame, and some tips for navigating dating!
