Sex & Survivorship: Navigating Sex After Cancer

June 24, 2020 @ 5:30 pm 7:00 pm PDT

$15 – $25

This class will be held online via Zoom — you’ll receive an email with access information prior to the event. While classes are LIVE in nature and by default not recorded, some educators have chosen to offer recordings of their classes to pre-registered attendees; please inquire for specifics of this event. Registration deadline: 2:30 p.m. PST on the day of class. No day-of cancellations.

Cancer affects every aspect of a person’s life, including their sex life. If you have cancer, if someone you love has cancer, or if you are a cancer survivor, this class is for you.

Join mother-daughter duo, Leslie Heron (ARNP, FNP-BC) of Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and our very own in-house educator Gretchen, for this informative and fun workshop on cancer and sexuality. They will discuss common side effects of cancer and cancer treatments (relationship issues, hiccups in communication, and physical symptoms such as erectile dysfunction, vaginal dryness, etc.), and products that can help (books, lubricants, toys, safer sex supplies, and more)!

This class will be a light-hearted way for healthcare professionals and those affected by cancer to connect and learn together. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and share stories.

We’re offering 2 free class spots to folks with financial need; please fill out this form if you are interested. Two people will be chosen randomly and contacted at least 2 weeks prior to class to confirm.
