Sex Ed QUICKIE: All About Aftercare!

January 5, 2021 @ 5:30 pm 6:15 pm PST

$10

This class will be held online via Zoom — you’ll receive an email with access information prior to the event. While classes are LIVE in nature and by default not recorded, some educators have chosen to offer recordings of their classes to pre-registered attendees; please inquire for specifics of this event. Registration deadline: 2:30 p.m. PST on the day of class. No day-of cancellations.

Aftercare is the period of time after a scene in which partners attend to one another’s psychological, emotional, or physical needs. This 45-minute QUICKIE will be an in-depth exploration of what happens inside our brains during a kink scene, and how that contributes to our need for aftercare. You will leave with a better understanding of how to communicate aftercare needs to your partner or partners, as well as an opportunity to participate in a Q&A with Violet to answer any specific questions that you may have.

Violet is a sex educator, pleasure advocate and soon to be licensed therapist. She describes herself as a “confidante for your sexual adventures,” kind of like Genie meets Samantha Jones. Making the transition from facilitating sex-positive workshops in schools, to now doing them at events and play parties, she has experience with creating exciting and open spaces for folks to learn, engage, and confidently move through their sexual journeys.
