Black Community Night at She Bop! (FREE in-person event)

December 6, 2022 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm PST

Free
Black Community Night

THIS EVENT IS FULL! Sign up for our email newsletter to be alerted when we have another. This event will be held in person at our N. Mississippi location.

Come celebrate sex positivity with Black community at She Bop! This is a FREE, private event by Black people, for Black people! She Bop’s CJ and Ayanna will be your hosts while you browse, mingle, ask questions, and enter to win some toys and local gifts in our raffle. We will have refreshing drinks, games, freebies to take home, and more! Attendees must be 18 years old or older.

Community Nights are monthly after-hours appreciation parties for our diverse communities — filled with education, private shopping (with special discounts!), games, and prizes. Each month, our staff members will host a different free in-person Community Night at our North Portland She Bop location (909 N. Beech Street Suite A). Masks are encouraged but optional — we will have a capacity limit and HEPA filters running. If you are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms, please stay home and join us another time.

CJ is a vegan baker, plant auntie, and kinkster with a background in sex work. An extroverted Aries, CJ loves to geek out about everything from lube ingredients to impact play and share her knowledge with the community as often as possible.

Ayanna feels most liberated when advocating for her community and their rights to exist in this world unapologetically. Born and raised in Portland, she’s seen the lack of safe sex-positive spaces for Black residents. Sex can be taboo in the Black community, and she wants to break that mold. In her free time she loves making music, cooking, and belting Amy Winehouse at karaoke.

We partner with Bloom Community, a queer + sex-positive social and dating app! Follow She Bop on Bloom to see our upcoming events and connect with the community. And check out Black Community Night at She Bop! (FREE in-person event) on the Bloom Community app!
