Find us at Pride 2012!

The annual Pride festival is coming up on June 15th through 17th, and we will be involved all weekend! At our festive booth in Tom McCall Waterfront Park, we’ll be representing pStyle, so we’ll have tons of pStyles in every color for all your stand-to-pee needs — plus other queertastic items such as Rainbow Wristbands, Queer Magnetic Poetry, Pride Jock Straps, and more!

Of course, you’ll find us marching in Sunday’s parade along with the Q Center, whom we’re sponsoring again this year! We’re also a sponsor of the Q Center’s Queer Heroes NW Art Show, a multi-media celebration of LGBTQ pioneers and leaders. The project can be viewed on the walls of the Aaron Hall Gallery at the Q Center throughout June, as well as in the Q Center’s booth at Pride.

That’s not all! She Bop goodness can be found at several other Pride events during the weekend. You won’t want to miss Gaylabration on Friday, June 15th — it’s an epic dance party fundraiser at Leftbank Annex that benefits Basic Rights Oregon and Pride NW. We’re a sponsor, and we also donated a whole pile of gift certificates!

We’ll also have a table at the Pride NW Inferno Dance Party on Saturday, June 16th at Refuge (116 SE Yamhill), 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. The party will feature burlesque, belly dancers, aerialists, several DJs, and of course, tons of dancing! Show your pride by costuming as your gayest fantasy, and be sure to come by our table! Advance tickets are $11 (+ service charge) and can be purchased online, or tickets are $15 at the door.

Also, don’t miss Pride NW & In Other Words Present Beautiful Families on Sunday, June 10th. Bring your kids to In Other Words for face painting, arts and crafts, story time, magic, and clowning around!
