From the Bedroom to the Boardroom
Thursday, April 11th — 7:30 p.m. — $25
What do you need in bed? What do you need at work? Asking for a spanking and asking for a promotion are not that different! Develop your prowess in the bedroom and your finesse in the boardroom at the same time.
Join educator entertainers Melanie Moseley and Leah Carey for a workshop that will be both entertaining and empowering. This workshop will include real-life anecdotes, a lively lecture, and interactive exercises around both sexy and professional situations. Experience and practice what it feels like to: distinguish between a yes, no, and maybe; say no with clarity and confidence; and identify your needs (and believe you’re worthy of having them fulfilled).
Mel Moseley has an MA in Theatre Arts from the University of Oregon. She is a storyteller, actor, teacher, and musician with more than 25 years of experience in education and performance art. This spring and summer she’s touring her one-woman show, Sexology: The Musical, which debuted at the Come Inside Festival in Portland. Follow her travels and her van life on her website.
Leah Carey is a Sexual Communication Coach and the creator and host of the “Good Girls Talk About Sex” podcast. She helps people learn to communicate about sex so they get what they really want in bed, rather than just accepting what they’re given. She has 15 years of experience as a workshop facilitator, including helping people translate their personal stories to the stage. Find her online and listen to the podcast on all major podcast platforms.
