New product round-up for August
First things first: VULVA EARRINGS. These one-of-a-kind pieces are made of Italian glass by a local artist. The process involves a centuries-old process called Lampwork and as such, each earring is unique. They hang on sterling silver wires and, we assure you, are the perfect accessory to any swanky affair.
Want to experiment with rope bondage safely and enjoyably? The Twisted Monk Rope Starter Kit is ideal for your adventures! This kit, made in Seattle, comes with one 30-foot piece of rope, two lengths of 10-foot rope, a “getting started” DVD, quick reference safety card, and safety scissors.
In vibrator-land, we grabbed Fun Factory’s newest battery-operated toys: Jazzie, Joupie, and Jam. These single-speed vibrators are a great option for the budget-conscious, as they’re inexpensive without sacrificing quality. Made with the best 100% silicone, they’re also pleasantly flexible.
To round things out, we grabbed the Blush Beau, a silicone battery-operated toy with a more realistic shape, and the Lipstick Vibe, which is designed specifically for discreet travel and play. On the super fancy end of the spectrum, we have the latest offering from Crave: the Duet Flex. This USB-rechargeable toy has two motors, one in each tip, to surround the clitoris with vibration.
For all the butts out there, we got the Rocks-Off O Boy, a slim beginner-friendly prostate vibrator. For the penises, we have the impeccably-designed OxBalls Cocksling #2. There’s On Arousal Oil for the clitoris or head of the penis, to increase blood flow and sensation. All genitals win!
Our bookshelf has expanded this month with several books, each on a very different topic! First, we got Sex is a Funny Word, an educational and inclusive book for kids ages 7-10 (and follow-up to the wildly-awesome What Makes a Baby). Then, written by the owner of a feminist sex shop in Toronto, we got Sex Yourself: The Woman’s Guide to Mastering Masturbation and Achieving Powerful Orgasms. Finally, we have The Fetish Coloring Book, filled with wonderfully detailed illustrations and genital-themed puzzles. What, you’ve never done a genital-themed puzzle before?
